Lynden Air Cargo is a US part 121 all-cargo airline based in Anchorage, Alaska. Lynden Air Cargo conducts operations within Alaska as well as other locations around the world, utilizing its fleet of L382 Hercules aircraft. Lynden's structure provides employees with the family environment of a smaller company, and the competitiveness, expectations and rewards of a large, global organization. The intern will provide general maintenance and administrative assistance by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist maintenance and customer service departments with administrative tasks and other miscellaneous duties.
Research or enter information on the computer to provide assistance to various departments, inquire on or update accounts, facilitate replies to customers or vendors, prepare bills, receipts, checks, or other documents.
Provide phone support, interacting with other operating company personnel, customers and vendors.
Assist with projects on an as-needed basis such as organizing information, presenting information, creating, revising and standardizing documents, working on company’s SharePoint sites and webserver, developing training modules or training documentation, supporting paperless cockpit using software applications on Window and iOS devices, etc.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Successful candidates should be currently enrolled in undergraduate program. Candidates are required to have high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, vendors, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Ability to speak clearly and produce quality written communications. Ability to effectively present information to Individuals or small groups.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Must be able to operate fax, copier, scanner, and other basic office equipment. Preferred but not required experience using modern software tools for web based work, such as, Oracle, SQL Server, and Btrieve databases, along with MS Expression, Crystal Reports, SharePoint Enterprise features, SharePoint Designer.
