The Records Clerk assists in all phases of aircraft records processing, data entry, filing and reporting. Lynden Air Cargo is a US part 121 all-cargo airline based in Anchorage, Alaska. Lynden Air Cargo conducts operations within Alaska as well as other locations around the world, utilizing its fleet of L382 Hercules aircraft. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists the Senior Records Clerk in all phases of aircraft records processing, data entry, filing and reporting.
Performs daily data entry of reliability data.
Administers Airworthiness Directives (AD) for compliance status and accomplishes accurate data entry of next due time for recurring ADs.
Assumes the duties of the Senior Records Clerk in his/her absence.
Performing any other duties within his/her capability that the Manager of Technical Services assigns.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to type and to use keyboard, 10-key, and PC. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel for data compilation and analysis. Experience in Aircraft Records, Trax Software, Microsoft Access, and Web based reporting preferred.
Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, nights or holidays, if required.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
